Reports, and every phase on the record

Each project’s page gets two reports, as PDFs, and its history as it happens: the day each phase started, each milestone handed over for revisions, the day it was handed in, against its deadline. Everyone is held to what was actually submitted, and it’s all in one place, with the project.

A project’s history: the permit phase handed in, its PDF dated, fingerprinted and locked

What it adds

Reports

One report for the client, one for you

The client’s: the project’s phases on a timeline, with the pauses, milestones and deadlines, under your office’s name only. Yours adds the hours: allocated, logged and left on each phase, and month by month. In English, French or Spanish.

Documents

The PDF that closes a phase, fingerprinted

When a phase ends, file the PDF that closes it. Traceroll dates it as it arrives and fingerprints it from its own contents, so it can’t be changed or swapped without it showing. After its first day it’s kept for good.

How to add it

In Settings, when you’re ready

  1. Open Settings → Rolls.
  2. Projects, under Included: Activate.
  3. Each project’s page now has its Reports and its History; ticking a phase done asks for its PDF.

Take it off the same way: Deactivate. What it kept stays, for when you add it again.
